Courtney Found the Problem and Fixed It Feb 10, 2026

We had problems with our Generac and had several people look at it, but Courtney with Potts was the only one to find the problem and rectify it. He came out, found the problem, ordered the part, and reassured us that when it arrived he would come back and replace it. He kept his word, and now our Generac is working again. Thank you, Courtney, for your wisdom, knowledge, and being true to your word. We would definitely call Courtney if we encounter any future problems.

Robert Taylor came out to assist us with replacing six outdated hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. From my initial contact with the office to a follow-up from Robert after our visit, every interaction has been great. Friendly, professional and respectful of our time and property. Robert fully explained what was needed to come up to code, how often to replace the detectors, and offered additional information about some other concerns (which ended up being only a lack of knowledge and not a problem). Our estimate was explained line by line and no pressure to accept. The pricing was very reasonable and within the "going rate" for the work to be done. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These guys came out and fixed the box in her basement and got everything working again. They were really nice and patient with her, even when she kept asking the same questions over and over. Overall wonderful experience. Montell came out to see why some of my outlets were not working in the kitchen. I didn't even realize that one of my outlets had what looked like soot on it, like it burned or something. The guy explained what needed to be done. I had an appointment, so I had to schedule for them to come back the next day. They were able to send a repair guy the next day when I was available to be home. The guy jumped in and started the repair. I think his name was Adam. He explained everything to me as he fixed it. Overall, it went much faster than I expected, and the cost was very reasonable. Both guys were super nice and professional. I will definitely use Potts Electric again. Thanks!!!

Brandon did such a great job! He was incredibly thorough, took his time, and explained everything along the way, and when he was done he walked me around to show me all the work he completed. He even checked out a couple of additional outlets I had concerns about once he had loaded up his van. Would definitely recommend Brandon! The only additional feedback I would have to give is there were some issues with Potts and communication around who was actually going to be doing the work today (I was told one thing Friday and then got the text that Brandon was on his way). In the end, I’m so happy with the quality of work Brandon completed today but just wanted to provide the feedback about what had been communicated.

It was easy to schedule for an estimate/quote, and the staff that visited the home walked through the work (providing context/education) and what was required. We had to have a new box installed, which we felt informed about after the visit. After accepting the quote, they scheduled staff and provided updates regarding arrival to begin the work. The office staff were helpful with logistics, questions, and other billing matters. We were overall very pleased.

Overall I had a good experience with Potts Electric while getting electrical work done so my home could pass occupancy inspection before closing. It was a stressful process since the inspector had to come out three times, and I had the closing date scheduled. The company was prompt with scheduling and understood my timeline so I could meet the deadlines. Everyone I spoke to from the initial call with Keely to Montel, Ryan, and Chase all cared about getting the work done as right and as quickly as possible. Their customer service was A+. Ryan Farrance, the electrician who handled the work, was great. He came out to my house three times to make sure everything was completed and would pass inspection. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I really appreciated his persistence in getting the job done right. In the end, everything was completed successfully and I’m grateful for Ryan’s help.

I am totally satisfied from the estimate to the installation. Cody was great during the estimate, I understood everything that needed to be done and why. Safety was a priority! The estimate wasn’t the least expensive I received but the work done was the most thorough. Marco arrived on time and got to work, not a second was wasted. The work is neat and clean. My home was restored to its original condition. No trash or old parts were left on site. Potts Electric were very respectful of my home and time. Estimate on Tuesday to job done on Friday - same week!!! I will be calling Potts again for smaller electrical jobs.
